Girls Education & Leadership Day 2015
For this free event, girls ages 9-14 will participate in fun, hands-on activities designed to teach concepts from STEM fields, encourage female leadership, and foster appreciation for the power of education. Activities will include a planetarium tour, tech activities, and more!

This event is a collaboration between YWTF Baltimore and Women’s Resources at Towson University.
Cocktails & Convos: Legislative Edition
You’re invited to join the Younger Women’s Task Force: Baltimore Chapter for a January 15th happy hour at Tavern on the Hill in Mt. Vernon!
Melissa Broome, Secretary of the Maryland Legislative Agenda for Women, will talk about the 2015 legislative session, the bills that will affect women in the state of Maryland, and what you can do to influence policy.

Local leaders will join Leader Pelosi to talk about the Women’s Economic Agenda which highlights the challenges facing women, including equal pay, work & family balance, and child care. There will also be a Q&A session for anyone who would like to ask Leader Pelosi about these issues.
